I have a Burris Signature 8-32 RA model and it is extremely bright. It is at least as clear as my Bushnell Elite 4200s but the field of view is much wider. I used to have a Burris Fullfield 2 with a ballistic reticle. the otics were great on that too but it didn't parallax down close enough to my liking.

Having had an RA burris and sold to get a 4200, i'd agree entirely with the above apart from saying the burris is no brighter but comparable.
The only draw back on the burris is no option of mildot on the RA and they are no where near as robust or light as the titanium built 4200. Mine had to go back for rethreading of the px ring and all of the ra's at the club had been sent back for similar or turret work. All FOC of course under the no-quibble lifetime warranty.
The only problem I can see is that you can't buy a Burris worth having new.
Burris also make excellent hunting scopes for airguns and rimfire- the 3-9 and 4-12x40. Not cheap but bomb proof and with excellent clarity.

I wish I was in the land of cotton.
