    Question.

I've just bought a BSA Spitfire & a Webley Hurricane.

In time I will probably be doing a review of both of them & I was wondering if I should put the reviews in this area or the review section?

    Cheers!

I'd put in the review section, but you could put a thread on this section if you wanted to...

Certainly in the reviews section for me. I'd not class the spitfire as a collectable just yet.

    Spitfire.

I wanted the version with wings, but unfortunately it wouldn't fit into the boot of my Rover 75!

Don't believe the hype. It was as much to do with the Hurricane as the Spitfire. But where this leaves Webley I have no idea?

    Spitfire

    Hares Ear;-

You are correct. There was more Hurricanes than Spitfires. Hurricanes were easier to build being based on proven technology, i.e. fabric for most of the bodywork. The Spitfire was mostly aluminium. But the image of the Spitfire is something that really sticks in my mind & to be honest my heart too.

JUST AN EARLY REMINDER TO YOU ALL. SEPTEMBER 15TH IS BATTLE OF BRITAIN DAY.

Off thread I know. Sorry. Back to air rifles etc.
