Might as well put one on Borders as well then!

Does your Leup have the varmint reticle? That looks pretty good.

Hi Kieran, very good review, I'm looking at the vxiii 2-8 x 36 for HFT. It has the boone and crocket reticle, which looks like the first 2 stadia will give the same aimpoint as the vamint ret. It is however a lot more chunky, which I like the idea of at the moment. Could you give me an idea of your zero and aim points for the varmint. I'm weighing it up against a burris which I believe has the first line roughly 1/2 mill dot down at x mag and it is known to be very usefull for HFT. I'm drawn to the loopy though, could just be a magpie thing

Thanks for the info, shame I fancied the 2-8 x 36. Those aim points look ideal. Why would you say the boone and crocket is no good, too fat? different spacing?

Spacings are far too far apart on the boone and crocket.

By the way the above info is with .177 Jsb's with medium mounts running at 782fps and at x11 mag.

    Hope this helps mate.
