It's actually very simple, I did my first by accident trying to remove a very tight lens cover, the rubber of the cover gripped the lock ring & unscrewed it as I twisted.

At the end of the objective, roughly where the blue arrow is pointing, is a locking ring which needs to be loosened, it may be thread locked & need a bit of heat, a strap wrench is handy but grippy gloves might do it.

Then adjust the lens via the notches of the red arrow, it should be easy to turn once the locking ring is loose, place a target at your required range & focus the scope on to it.

Hold the lens still & re tighten the lock ring, If you want to thread lock it only use a low strength like loctite 222.
