Leupold Mark 4 10x40

Out of interest to anyone interested in a Mk 4, here's an email
just received.


"Hi Derek,

Leupold say they can reparallax the 10x fixed scope to min 20 yards, max
approx 50 yards. It will cost $US 70."

Would this be a good move, or is the standard scope ok for the real close (8 yarders) ones as it is??

I can only speak from my experience but my 10x40 will focus useably down below 8 yards without having the PX altered at all after it's left the factory.

mine also comes down very low as well. I actually have turned the PA wheel out and biased it towards further targets...i can still see what i need to see on small reducers at 8 yds...at night.
