BSA rear sight wanted: breakdown model or Cadet or Airsporter

Having just seen a thread for Cadet parts wanted, I will add my list:

Rear sight wanted for a BSA 'breakdown' model but I am told that a rear sight from a Cadet or Airsporter Mk1 will also fit.

    Also Meteor breech seal, leather

    Can anyone help?

    Cheers, Phil

    Hi Phil,

Forgive my ignorance but did the Meteor ever have a leather breech seal?
My Mk 1 has the standard (BS008) BSA 'O' ring and I THINK its original.

Thanks for the question. The answer is that I believe it had a leather seal for early models. I say this as I was looking for a new seal for my 'breakdown' and it was suggested to me that a Meteor seal would fit. Since posting this thread I have been offered a Meteor seal so will be able to check once I receive it.
    Kind regards

    Phil

Phil, If this Is any good to you, I have a MK1 Airsporter rear sight base, as It says without the Internals....Another alternative Is `John Knibbs`...They have just provided me with a rearsight for my MK2...Sparko...X
