A corrupt police force legally stole my weirauch 45 in May 2005..
I never saw it again.
I picked up a HW45 recently, great gun, good fun to fire would recommend it. the cocking and loading (pesky .177 pellets) does take technique, but its worth it. Guaranteed a smile every time. I am on the look out for a .22 as well now.

PS: Remember to use lose hold when firing, then the recoil will look after itself.
He never set the safety on safe. The safety can be set to safe before you even cock the HW45. Also it does not take two hands to close the barrel I'm not sure why he made it look hard to close. My P1/Hw45 is the only springer pistol in my collection. It is a keeper.
Edit: I did see him use the safety one time near the end of the video. But it should be set before one even cocks the gun. IMO.

pull the hammer, load the pellet, engage the safety then cock the gun.
easiest and safest way to cock the 45.
The HW45 is the best general use spring pistol you can buy, fitting a .22 barrel to the .177 will not take it over the limit.I have tested some new .22 very close.

.22 Webley Venom FX2000 6-18x40 Busnel Legend.

.177 Logan Solo 4-16x50.
.22 HW90 (spring powered) 4-16x50

.177 Walther lever action.
Please can someone confirm if both the .177 & .22 have the two-stage option, as suggested on the Weihrauch web site?
I recall from somewhere that it may not be an option on one of the calibres?
Thanks
