    Desert Island Guns

What if you could only keep ONE air rifle/pistol.
My choice would be my taploader Stutzen.
Light, powerful, accurate and great to look at.

It would have to be an early HW35. The leather piston head last for years and easily (?) replaced with a bit of old leather from your belt from the trousers you no longer need to wear ! If you dont shoot them you can frighten them out of the trees.
More or less any old spring (within reason ) would produce some sort of power output and the rifle is easily stripped with just a couple of screw drivers.
