    The new Armalon cocking handle.

had a slot for a 6.5 Grendel on my ticket for a while, and hadn't filled it, due to the problems the grendel HAD with hard extraction. The round can be made to extract reliably, but velocities have to be kept low to work, thus making the round little better than a .223. Infact, i had just this conversation with Mark Bradley, just a few months ago . Gentleman that he is, he actually talked me out of one, because he knew it wouldn't work as it should, and that i would be dissapointed....a very honest man.

Then shooting sports dropped on the mat, and there was review of this new "camming" bolt handle, which looked like it would work. That saturday, one of the lads turned up to a practical match at Diggle, with the handle on his grendel. He had upped the charges, and it was extracting. That was me doomed. I knew a chap who had one at diggle, and was dissillusioned with it, so offered to buy it.he was going to try a handle, then changed his mind, and decided to sell it, so i bought it, and then a handle.

First day today at the range, and i had two loads slowly running up to a grain off maximum, as i was short of cases. It handles all of them no bother at all, and reliably extracted them all, no problem, or struggle whatsoever. I know it will handle maximum loads now, and just need some load development. just changed the poor trigger for a jewell this afternoon, and confident thats gonna make a difference too.
Here,s a few pics of me, and my buddy shooting it, and the handle in action.
The handle is very well made, and works perfectly, and looking at the work that goes into one, i would say they are good value at £135. Great for .223 if you like RG which can be hard to extract, and an absolute must on a grendel, or even an AR10 in 308.

I had a look at that rifle on Saturday at Diggle before you took it away, and I think it must be the Lightest AR I have ever handled, I look forward to see how you do with it at Diggle next year. You beat me by 1 point on Sat Dave - well done . Enjoy the new rifle
