    Mercury mark 2 trigger

Mine is a 2 piece, hardend steel through which the pin goes and that egages the sear and a plastic blade thats attached witha spit pin and the main pin.

Now does anyone make a brass replacment for the plastic part or would it be a difficult job DIY ?

You used to be able to buy metal ones as I always found the plastic blade bent when using

Exactly why i'm asking mine bends slightly too. plus Im getting the triger block repainted but leaving the trigger guard as polished alloy (albiet under a coat of laquer), so fancied a bit of bling.

    Well Andy

Don't tell anyone on the BBS but I rip old door locks apart to get the big brass slides out of them to make triggers.
I also get pieces of brass, stainless and ally from my Gypsy friends who collect scrap metal.

    All the best Mick
