    bsa airsporter/super star?

a question for the BSA experts
i have a gun which is a bit of a mystery
it looks like a BSA airsporter and is stamped as such, but it also has the super star rotary breech and a safety in the top of the rear block.the stock is solid and rounder in front of the under lever and finishes just under the rear sight
    the serial number is wr03232

i `ve not seen one like it before but if anyone has any information as to what it is and age etc that would be helpful
    many thanks

    Rb2

    Hi there,
sounds like an airsporter RB2 (revolving breach) which was the last model made i think!

This ones a bit unusual as it has the safety catch which the Stutzen's only seemed to have.

Far too many rifles to list now, all mainly British but the odd pesky foreigner has snuck in

I believe they were the last of the Airsporters, and were designated "RB2", of which "RB" stands for "rotary breach"

    Late 80's?

I'm sure someone with some more info will be along soon.
