    TH-W Open shoot 17th May 09

    Just to let all our members at TH-W HFT Club,that our next open shoot is next weekend SUNDAY 17th May 09 ( This has been an added date to take up our Jan 09 shoot,which was cancelled due to very bad weather)

    We are shooting the 30 No course in our woods,which will be a interesting,as the Bluebells could still be up

    All members,non members & guests welcome,to come along & enjoy a full days shooting
    Food & Drinks availble all day

    Thw internal comp, but guests welcome!

    Looking forward to sunday as always, this is our internal comp which is the one that was cancelled earlier in the year due to bad weather.

    Although only members of THW score cards will be entered, guests are WELCOME to come and have a go at our challenging 30 target course.

    Free food and drinks as usual for all members and guests.

    Talking th-w comp

    cleaned guns two

    and found a funny shaped scope on a certain persons logun solo he will be getting a new scope

    but the rest were fine and mine with my nice shiney mounts thanks to tony

    i will be polishing them before the shoot

    Funny shaped scope.

    Isnt that one of those new fangled ones that is meant to aid in shooting around those pesky blubells.

    Thumbs up funny scope

    well he did get a reasonable good score with it last shoot

    so he might not be getting a new one just yet

    but is it allowed in the comps if it aids in shooting?????

    If he gets a new scope just let somebody who's qualified to set it up. Of course by "qualified" I mean anyone but Tony!

    Well. If I remember correctly.

    I was the last person to set both lewis's and Ant's scopes up.

    And since then they both shot well with them.
