    This sunday Fort AGC (Wrexham) Grand prix HFT Rd 1

    Sunday the 17th May sees the start of Forts Grand Prix, a series of 7 shoots from May until November.

    Your 5 top scores count and Trophies and prizes will be awarded at the end of the series in November.

    Classes will be:

    Open class (.177 pcp etc)
    Recoiling
    Junior
    .22

    Dates for the competitions are as following:

    17th May
    28th June
    12th July (incorporating Help for Heroes charity shoot)
    2nd August
    20th September
    18th October
    1st November

    The series will be open to all to shoot the 30 lane/target HFT course and plinking range, £5 will get you booked in for the competition and full use of the plinking range.

    The club is set in beautiful surroundings in LLay in Wrexham, Directions are on our website here we will also again set some signs from the road again to make finding us a bit easier.

    This shoot will abide by the ukhft rules and regs.

    Booking in starts at 9.30 am and the competition will start at 10.30am.

    No motor homes are allowed or dogs unfortunately

    We will also have some shooting supplies for sale, pellets targets etc etc and these will be on sale all day.


    We also have the provision of a full english breakfast, bacon sandwiches cooked by the land owner and also tea and coffee supplied too this is all paid to the landowner and not the club. The full english are about £4.50 with a drink too and they are very nice too.

    If you do wish to have some cooked food the please post on the thread so Bill (the landowner) has a bit of a heads up this time.

    Come on lads/lasses get down to the Fort's 1st shoot of the series we have a very interesting and testing course for you all, no one as yet to clear our course's dont know why some come and put your shooting to the test at the Fort.

    30+ as we usually get This being the start of the GP we are hoping for a good turnout, pop along and have a look for yourslef

    I have registered again. Hoping to be there on sunday, probably flying solo so i will be looking forward to a warm Fort welcome
