Have a look down the breech. Is the hole 4.5 mm or 5.5 mm?

    Buy this one then Paul......

I was shooting my (deceased) old pals 1974 .22 Merc yesterday & hitting 1 inch spinning targets set out at 40 yards...not every time, but more hits than miss's once sighted in...I think they are better to shoot/cock than their underlever brother.. & the "S" version is really worth having in your collection.

I would say around £225 (.177) with all it's bits depending on year, slightly less for the .22...look under the cocking link for the serial No....with that we can tell you what series it is & roughly the year...ATB,C.

If you do offer to buy it Paul, do it by p-m please, and not by posting here, as this is a valuation request and not a sales thread. If the current owner does choose to sell once he has a price he is happy with however (imo around the £175 plus post mark ), he'll have to start a fresh sales thread to comply with BBS etiquette and all that, innit ...
