Sssh don't tell anybody, especially the "diamond geezer". I can't remember a day when I have shot so badly, except maybe the last time I shot.

I have got some good excuses lined up though... here are just a selection:

"The wind was blowing up from the ground at the peg and down onto the target (this is true)"
"The type of light that day caused rangefinding to be out by at least 10 yards (also true)"
"The sheer force of the wind was causing me to cant my rifle over (true yet again)"


or, as El Tel will no doubt say, I am just a pr1ck ( not true)
