    Morning All,

05:30hrs and the report from the sunny Sussex coast is thus, rain has stopped and the cloud is thinning by the minute, Huzzah!

The wind is a few degrees off of a straight southerly at a fairly constant F6 gusting to F7.

This is going to be a cracker.

    ########*EDIT*########*

Wind now dropped to F2 gusting to F4, even the hobbits should be able to cope with that..... runs for cover.

    See you all soon.

What a great day! The wind made it harder than it looked, with the scores down a bit from what I was expecting, but it's all good. Big thanks to those that set up & tore down the course, which included the Richard, Eddie, Barry, Rob, Paul as well as the others. It all went smoothly and proves once again that SIHFT is becoming one of the best local comps in the country.

Only one target caused problems which was the wooden reel in the woods. It looked like there was a bit of plate above the kill zone but it was still there when the target went down, so it turned out to be the back of the reel. It caught a few out but thats all part of the sport. It would not be so much fun if every target was unobscured and there was no grass or leaves to blow in the way.

Thanks to everyone who came to the event and well done to Richard for some great shooting to bring in a 57 in that wind. Cant wait till the next one.

Fanatastic day folks... Daniel thoroughly enjoyed it and is still parading round showing everyone his first silver

The course was spot on, the wind lifted it enough to make it tricky but not frustrating... top job as always Ford!

Apart from the early reports of enjoyment (Swines!) to rub salt into the wound, my car is now back having been sorted. Too late to turn up now and shoot I take it?

Like to thank all the Fordies and congratulate Richard on a fantastic score/win and to Dave and all the helpers for a great course. Oh and I think we should all thank the big man upstairs for that fantastic wind.

Sorry couldn't stay to the end but had to run for the Mini GP. Anyone got the team scores in their heads to share.

Thanks Ford for a good but tricky course with that wind (well done the course setters), thats the Ford I remember, none of these no wind easy courses for Derek to clear eh
I only have one complaint..... I had nothing to complain about

Must work on those free standers with the MPR, cost me another 0 today though

Look forward to seeing the scores as I had to go early..
