Smile Two Vintage Diana Original Model 1 Rifles For Sale

    FOR SALE
VINTAGE DIANA / ORIGINAL MODEL 1
    .177 AIR RIFLES

I have pretty much the full suite of Dianas with numerous variations of the models, so am releasing a few back into the community as part of my ‘pruning’ exercise. For sale here are two Model 1’s. There are two Model 15's on a seperate post as I was exceeding the 10000 character limit trying to get them all on the same thread.

    This is the four:

One now sold one still availble!
The Diana Model 1 came out in the 1920’s and was in production until 1945, and then again in 1952. Quite a few were marked with an independent retailers name or trademark.

Rifle A: this is a nice tidy example of the Model 1.
It has a wooden stock and blued tinplate action. The barrel has a removeable tube insert to load the pellet into, and its cocked break-barrel style with two sprung wire latches that keep the action in place.
Condition; good. This example retains most of the blued finish; see the piccies. The top is marked “Original” MOD.1 and the words MADE IN WEST GERMANY appear underneath towards the stock. Fore and rear sights are original. The wooden stock has no splits or repairs and has a ribbed butt. This has a varnished finish with some marks and scuffs. It cocks and fires fine. –These are not high powered rifles.
Asking £30 collected or posted at cost. -SOLD to Gareth

    ---------------------------------

Rifle D: this is another example of the Model 1. It has a wooden stock and blued tinplate action. The barrel has a removeable tube insert to load the pellet into, and its cocked break-barrel style with two sprung wire latches that keep the action in place.
Condition; good. This example has had a life! The blued finish is very worn; see the piccies. The top is marked with the Diana Huntress emblem and the word DIANA within a rectangular lozenge is marked to the sides. Fore and rear sights are repaired or virtually worn down. The wooden stock is has no splits or repairs and has a smooth butt. It has a few marks and scuffs, a chip to the top and two small holes drilled at the but end. It cocks and fires fine. –These are not high powered rifles.
Asking £15 collected or posted at cost.-SOLD to royalscotsgrays pending usual!
