Somehow doubt it ..... without being able to dial their scopes and no soft cushions to sit on .... they'll be in bits!!

Course is set and the flagpole is moving six inches either way, so if it keeps up it should be fun.

Sounds like I'll be doing my usual then..

hitting the long ones in the wind,

    and missing the 8 yarders:

and missing the 20 yd "gimmees", as well ....

but somehow I have a feeling that there won't be many gimmees on the Buxted menu tomorrow..

Andy has got that wicked old glint in his eye..

Well that was one of those days where I wished i'd stayed in bed
Nice course Buxted, sadly I could not shoot for sheet today, peaked at Quarry I think last week.... Shame Beth was on a sugar rush for the 1st 15 targets as the last 15 she only dropped a point I think

Well done to Richard for top spot, Nick for 2nd & Matt in 3rd after the shoot off.
See most of you on the Sussex scene & then at the Southern Hunters next month.

    Damn,

I must be psychic , 'xactly what happened. Tough course ('es an 'ard man, but fair), thanks to Buxted for a good day out, top shooting by the high scorers, that was a typical Buxted course

Thoroughly enjoyable course today (too many targets I liked to mention) and a good laugh. There was some incompetent buffoon manning the booking in table (I'm surprised Andy didn't shoot him).

    It was over too quickly.

No Ben I actually thought it was seamless and look at your score who would have thought all those doghnuts you were eating a year ago you would finish in the top third of the field on a course like todays. Respect.

Thanks Andy, I've got to admit it feels good not to miss a target; plating 'em is a tad annoying though.

It does feel weird shooting out in the field at Buxted; those wind pixies run riot.

Au contraire mon ami. It was much appreciated and as Andy says, seamless.

Thank you to Buxted for a superb course, the placing of those targets was amazing. I tried many times to move away from the intended view of the target only to find it blocked by a tree or leaf etc. which forced the shooter back to what they wanted us to shoot at. That is target placement of the highest order

I salute the course setters, that was a work of pure genius.

I was lucky today. Lucky...but very happy

Sir Richard Rat the woods owed you something and they gave it back to you today.

It was a pleasure to give you the trophy, a more worthy winner on the Sussex scene I cannot think of.
