An excellent choice, especially for Iron Plate Action Shooting, more details here.
It does well in our UBC Police shoots.

Just out of curiosity what power do these pistols push out and how many ft per second.

Hi the CP88 is a great little pistol, it's great for back yard plinking, great for Practical Pistol / Iron Plate, great for all the UBC 6 yard competition. it can be used for 10m target work and with some practise you should be keeping all the shots in the black but don't expect tight groups.
As for power they are around the 2.5 ftlb mark, Muzzle velocity 393 FPS
If at some point you want to improve the CP88 you can convert it into the 6" competition model without too much hassle.
Hope this helps
Jason

GREAT service! The bus runs every-minute-on-the minute, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week: except that it runs, usually, only from the 4th Saturday, through the Sunday of the following week.
This month, it runs from the 5th Saturday, through the Sunday of the following week.
The bus will pick you up anywhere, and take you to: 1) your back yard 2) your alley 2) your attic 4) your basement 5) any other place your can safely fire a low-powered air pistol at a distance of 6 yards as measured from your toes to the target.
I ride it regularly. It's safe, clean, and employs courteous drivers.
Never seen an accident yet!
