i have just bought a bsa scorpion .177 pistol which is dismantled,some parts are missing which i need to get.how do i tell if it's a mk1 or mk2?

I do believe there are some transitional Mk2's out there that have the MK1 rear sight and a scope rail so it may not be as simple as all that.
Rear sight holes spacing is different - Mk1's rear sight holes are much closer together, Mk2's rear sight holes are about an inch apart.

it has a scope rail so a mk2 then,also has rear sight holes about an inch apart.
looked on chambers site and this thing needs a lot of bits.think i'll get rid.
