Remember that old advert where the guy goes into a DIY shop and asks for "A Saw" and the chap educates him - "You need one of these and one of these, and for metal.!
Pistols are a bit like that

Very true that.
I started with an LP50 6 or so years ago. Then it led on to the SSP pistols, the 10m match pistols, spring pistols, CO2 pistols, Electronic trigger pistols, Electronic trigger spring pistol, Electronic trigger Multishot pistol, 10m match co2 pistol, 10m match SSP pistol, vintage 10m match pistol etc....
I'm at 12 so far and another one in my sights!
You have been warned.

Well it's my lucky day. Nobody has the Rohm's in stock! I'm 400 quid richer, until next month.
Tried the Brococks/AimX. Top heavy as mentionned above and they don't hide their cut down rifle heritage very well. They look more like an AA TDR with the stock removed and a short barrel, fugly.
I could still get the Rohm Trainer for UBC Practical Pistol...

Looks like only CO2 replicas can be used for IPAS, although a google search of "IPAS" yields some amusing results .
Having used a couple of replicas in the past I'm not a fan. Just too low power output and cheap feeling, although the quality appears to have improved on some of the newer models. I guess my favourite handgun is plastic anyway, Glock 19.
I get to go "real" pistol shooting just about every month, so that box is ticked.
It's a bloody minefield this shooting lark.
