    Hi,

I am a bit of a latecomer to airguns, my friends had them as children but I was blessed with strict parents who wouldn't let me have one of my own.

Well, I'm a grown up now, well, in age anyway, and I'm looking for a good introductory pistol to get me started.

I noticed an advert for the Webley Centenary Tempest, but as it's not going to be available for a while I was wondering if getting a second hand one would serve me better.

Any advice would be much appreciated.

    Fraser.

    Hello Fraser, and welcome

2nd hand is quite a good way of saving cash!

    All the best

True, but in the long run, would the increased maintainance costs outweigh the initial saving?

I suppose I am thinking of the ultimate durability of the guns and availability of spares etc.
