Hello from Manchester (sunny it ain`t !!!!)

    Hi all
My name is Phil and I live near Manchester but am originally from Scotland ,moved here in 1979. I`m on the wrong side of 50 and got back into airguns a couple of years ago after a 30 year layoff. A lot changed since my youth spent on a farm in Perthshire with my .22 Airsporter and .177 Diana..... happy days...sigh .Now the proud owner of a BSA R10 in .22 flavour and have to say despite all the bad press mine has not missed a beat and touch wood is very acurate. I`m now looking to re unite myself with an Airsporter and the joys of open sight shooting an see if I am half as good as I think I used to be.

    Best regards to all Phil

    Welcome aboard, Phil.

There are a couple of Airsporters for sale at the moment; you'll gain access to the sales board after you've made a few more posts, but the collectors' board is open to you, so have a look in there.

It's currently someone who sits at home looking for a new job. Usually it means someone who teaches in Further Education - colleges, between school and university. I teach Politics, but most of the jobs out there at the moment are for basket weaving lecturers and the like
