Newbie near Stoke on Trent looking for local club

Hi Folks,
Just bought my first air rifle at aged 62 - HW95k - and getting bored with the 30 ft range in the back garden Not personally interested in killing anything apart from the odd rat raiding the bird feeders and an occasional fly that lands on the target but looking for a local location to shoot a bit further and learn more about the sport (I live in Talke)

Searching the forum there appears to be (or was) a club in Canal St, Longport. Does anyone know if it's still there and the current meeting times / nights. Is it normal just to turn up with/without your rifle?

Thanks for the Welcome, If I am at home Wednesday night I think I will just go on spec, on the most recent post I could find that was their meets night.
