Tool belt & drill holster is definitely the way to go with the Alecto.
Lasers are great for plinking & shooting from the hip

Can you guys answer the following;
1. Are red dot lasers on airpistols any use or is just that they appeal to out macho image for pistols ?
2. As the Alecto is a big beast can you recomend a holster that it would fit (with room for red dot in the future ) ? I'd looked at drill holsters because of the larger size but wondered what your thoughts are.

Lasers aren't really for shot on shot shooting, you will notice the dot moving and over aim. On a pistol I use it for quick shooting at targets like cans, same on my CX4.
On a rifle they are more useful as you can use them as a range finding aid and then aim with the scope.
If your really want a laser I'd say pick up a green one, the beam is visible and it makes them cooler and therefore it will make you cool as well (this is an undeniable fact).
You might be able to tell I'm more of a casual pistol shooter!!
Thanks guys, to be honest I'd already decided if not much use was gonna get one just for the factor...
Can you suggest any lasers or holsters suitable for the alecto ?
