    I am not sure that Theoben are doing these anymore, but I bought two for two HW80s that I owned back in the 90s. They wouldnt do them for the '77/97 at that time.
    Consistency certainly improved with their use. Unsure about the claim of reduced piston bounce though?

    conversion

    Hi,wasnt this a converson/tune done only by the Airgun Centre in Rayleigh,tho maybe wrong???.

    Yes they did,they had rave reviews at the time but seemed to die out very fast
    maybe not as good in practise.

    The first zephyr was cut into the piston seal face, then they (theoben)started cutting then into the end of the cylinder to guide air to the transfer port.
    Its just a ducting pattern to move the air in the direction of the port.
