    DMHS Rnd 5 Kibby Results

Thanks to everyone that travelled to Kibby to take part in Round 5 of the Daystate Midlands Series. Also a big thanks to the Kibby members that gave up their Sunday to come along and marshall the event
The wind Pixies were at their best today making it a challenge to work out where
your pellet was going to hit.
I would like to thank my shooting Partner Simon Vant for keeping me going whilst I put in my worst score in three years, and had to watch a master class from him. Top boming
All scores have been amended as we had to pull Lane 8.

As my own score has remained the same Greg, I can only presume that I managed to score on lane 8? If I had manged to acquire an additional point I would have finally have achieved my gold badge. Why have I not been allocated an additional point?
    Thanks

Absolutely a great day ... well done to the course setters for a somewhat challenging course (for me!) and for excellent organisation. To see the second session start spot on schedule was superb. The wood chips improved the ground to luxury standard ... let's have more. And the cafe chips were, as ever, just what was needed, along with the necessary coffee. It was good to see people again after the Christmas break.
So ... Greg, Rob et al. take a bow; you deserve it.
As it was a Sunday I began with 'For what we are about to receive ...

I tried to continue with 'Pray let the wind disrupt my competitors but grant me a lull...
    Unfortunately no one was listening.
    Cheers, Phil

    Hi Andy
Yep you presumed correctly, you did knock number 8 down, so unfortunatley your score stopped the same, but with one round to go there is still a chance

Really enjoyable day and thank you Kibworth (Admin, setters, marshals and shop staff. It all made for the perfect shooting atmosphere). The wind was a bit of a killer at times, but the ground was superb. As has been mentioned, the wood chip was perfect.

Me and Chris79 were shooting round followed by Greg and the man who I now guess is Simon 'top score'. My springer shooting reached it's peak early on, then dropped off.

I had 'he's fingered the peg' or 'there's the finger' was the banter behind me and Chris giving it 'Right then, no wind, give it nothing for the wind' ( he actually said, 'right from now on I'm giving it F all for the wind), after hitting the waving stander in the tree.

    Brilliant day out, much appreciated.

    sunday shoot

Well done today to Simon, Simon, and Martyn top shooting with that tricky wind.
Still wondering where it all went wrong for me, great shoot today made you think all the way round. Just a pity there were so many stopages though i nearly ran out of air from firing at the ground all afternoon.

    Hi Guys

    I've updated the website.

    Rd5 Results >>HERE<<

LeaderBoard >>HERE<< this is currently showing the leaders after 5 rounds. However at the end of season it will be the highest competitors 4 rounds will determine the overall champion

Sorry I have not been at the comps & getting the scores up as quick as the first season, but things have been out of my control.

    Regards
    Paddy.

As always, I had a brilliant time at Kibby and would like to thank everyone involved...

As big Greg said, the wind pixies were definitely out to get us today - especially on the unsupported stander! (I got to see more tree than target on that one!).

In spite of his scope being well off zero, Greg was great company and I'm sure will be teaching me a thing or two next time we shoot together.

Glad Richard sorted you out with a replacement mate........

If I had some ballons with me we could have blown them up with the air that was leaking out of the end of the barrel.......
