Congratulations on the very testing course - a bit too testing when I went round a second time with the springer. I hereby claim an extra piece of Swiss roll for killing target 22, thereby simultaneously creating a completely new yoga position. I'll bring the sack of camo nets to the next shoot to help hide the dreadfully offensive BBQ shelter.

Yes indeed, a challenging but none the less very enjoyable course.

I too managed to put down target 22 and all with the old TX200SR springer

More Swiss roll for me please.

I need to practice more to have more lucky shots.

    TH-W Open Shoot

Nice to see em doing well.
Should have been doing his homework though.
He did even better considering he has not had the rifle long. I heard dad is putting his gun on fleebay on the Monday. Shame!

Good course. Must practice the close ones, I got the long ones. Must be lack of alcohol in the blood stream, I shoot much better with a hangover.

so hopefully my scores might improve but time will tell

Was a very challenging course on sunday, Tony's managing to beat me far too much lately, got to do something about that!!

I bet Tony put the new scope on for you!
Who zeroed your rifle with the new scope?
    Tony by any chance?

Far be it for me to suggest anything underhand has gone on but when did you stop beating him?

Nuff said I think. Maybe it's time to enter the psycological stage. Don't go down the Lysistrata route though as most women do. That is classed as cruel and excessive punishment.

My scores have improved since I started zeroing my combos rather than just setting off on the course after knocking down a few of the longer range practice targets. Also, I've given up on 10x scopes and settled for 7 or 8x. I now have a couple of spare MTC Viper 10x and a Hawke 8.5-25 TAC, as well as a few others. I'll be having a gun/scope clear out shortly. Heaven knows what I'll see at Newark tomorrow but I do need a few bits for the Tactical Air Wolf which has replaced the leaky Theoben TTR2.
