Hi all,

Up until recently I have been a very casual air rifle shooter, but recently I have been spending more and more time "hitting the targets". I have gotten rather good ( In my opinion at least ) at about 30 - 35 yds with what I hear is a very poor excuse for a rifle ( SMK 19 .22 ).

I am looking to join a rifle club around the Woking/Pirbright area and get myself a more respectable rifle, I have been looking at the BSA R10 but am getting rather confused around the MK1/MK2 debates I have seen going around.

Anyway I hope to get to know some of you better and look forward to absorbing copious amounts of info from this forum.

Have found the BBS extremely helpful already, having bought an Ultra and found a lot of advice for restoring rifles as I'm doing my cometa 300 right now.

Only problem is I can't drag myself out of the sales section :S
