Anyone heard of a Haenal Bolt Action Springer with a 6 shot magazine. The bolt actually pulled the spring back. As a rifle it looked strikingly like a K98. The bolt handle swung through 90 deg to form a level which then pulled the spring back. Not the most powerfull rifle. it did take BB's but due to manufacturing tolerance on the BB's those that were a bit big of slightly mishapen stuck in the barrel. It was designed the fire lead no. 6 shot. Small mag at front automatically loaded as bolt was pull.
Built in the 50's and 60's I think. Anyone know anymore? or where I could replace it

The gun I think you are refering to is the Haenel 33 Sportmodell Junior. It is a Military trainer made during the 1930's and 40's. It was designed to look and handle similar to the Mauser service rifle.
Here is a comparison photograph with the airgun on the top and the service rifle below

Hi, the 33 is quite hard to find and expensive, the 310 looks a bit like a Mauser sporter, and is much easier to find, especially in Germany, tons of spares on this site as well as other examples
Re. the ammo jamming, these use a 4.4mm ball, not the normally encountered 4.5 (.177), and although the size is clearly stamped on the barrel, people think 0.1mm larger will be O.K., it ain't!
Have a look at http://www.cinedux.com under the "H" section...for Schmeisser air rifles
Great info, just what I wanted. Thanks very much.
