    SIHFT Round 1 results

Excellent turnout today with 86 people taking part - look forward to seeing you all at Ford in two weeks!

Congratulations to Tony on the top score of the day, two badges I missed reading out were Rob Appleyard with a Gold and Steve Light with a Silver, team scores are corrected to show the inclusion of Steve Light's score which means three clubs are tied on 250!

Dont think there was much home advantage! Felt like someone had smuggled in some Fordy left to right to left wind

Brilliant start to the series! Gold and my first Team score

Well done both Alan and Damien on equal and new PB's respectively and rather respectable in the wind!!

Mon Dieu, sacre bleu and a good solid helping of petit pois! What the...?

I aimed up, I aimed down, I aimed left, I aimed right. I aimed up and left and even up and right, I aimed down and left, I aimed down and right, sometimes I even aimed dead on.

Did it make any difference where I aimed? Did it chuff. Dink, dink, dink, dink I went.

But was I demoralised? Too damn right I was.

The scope is back on the trusty s400 and I'm not taking any prisoners from here on in.

    Roll on Ford.

    Richard

ps Before the massacre, Spongey said "I don't think we've set a very difficult course...."

pps Charles, you da man, thanks for almost single handedly running the show

I think your right buddy, less plunking and more plinking i think....

Great days shooting though even if i did badly, thanks to Tony for having the patience to deal with my crying......

I am away on the weekend of the ford shoot, so might have to instigate a flamming big argument for her in doors to make me stay behind , he,he..
