Barpc 2012 easter bunny bash

Hi all

Please be advised that we will be holding the 2012 Easter Bunny Bash at Popham on Sunday 13th May this year and all are welcome to this informal and friendly annual get together.


There will be a 40 shot classic HFT course and if time permits, a 30 shot Pistol HFT, all in the glorious Popham Woods setting which will hopefully be in full bluebell bloom!

On site catering from Mehmet (Adam)

HFT will be to 3rd place for open and also to 3rd place for recoiling class. Entry into one only. Juniors (15 and under) to 3rd place.

If the pistol goes ahead, it will be to 3rd place in iron sights recoiling and to 3rd place in open which is all other catagories including red dot. Lazers and telescopic sights are not permitted.

Entry cost to be confirmed but probably as last year at £8.00 per person for the main HFT with a reduction to £5.00 for juniors.

Pistol will be £4.00 and both catagories can be entered once.

Gates open at 9.00am with a shotgun start at 10.00am.

Also for your diaries, our Summer Sizzler will be held on 30th Sept to avoid the usual clash with the Midland.

Bob,if the Bunny Bash can be rearranged to the 13th May,then I'm sure I can speak for the Sussex clubs and say that would be fantastic news,as it is at the moment it clashes with our Rnd 2 of our SiHFT,there wouldn't be anyone from 'down south' to come and play at your fantastic ground !!

As long as it's OK with those able to help set up and run the course, I see no reason not to move it. The 13th is one of the few weekends I'm not committed to other things such as supervising D of E expeditions or assessing in the N Forest.

We also nee to find time to come down to one of your grounds as well, as long as we can get visa'a and the relevent innoculations

Checked my notes,I got the email with the calender for the 2012 SiHFT and other shoots,as known,on the 09/10/11.... Bunny Bash is on the calender as 13/05/12 and Sizzler is 30/09/12 !!

There's no reason in principle why we can't rearrange for the 13th as long as we have committee available on the 13th.
