Probably the Falcon FN6 or FN8.

    Or an FX Ranchero.

Both can be tuned right up to UK full power.

Just remember most PCP Target pistols as well.

It will be pcp as springers have too many variables.

I had a brocock GP with the AT intact that was doing 5.9ftlbs plus, until it turned down to a safer limit.

For a springer, consider the Diana LP8 (.177), and for a CO2, try a Benjamin EB22 (.22). I have both, plus a .22 HW45 and a Crossman 2240. All apparently as close to the limit as you will get legally. They all pack a mighty punch!

If you want a good old springer then a BSA Scorpion is close to the limit, some of the early ones had to be returned to BSA because they were over the legal limit.

    Why the power obsession?
If you know how many guns you’ve got, you haven’t got enough.

The Webley Alecto will also push the limit, I believe the US version is about 9 ft/lbs?

like it but too much pumping and no good for left handed people more importantly, unless it changed in last few years

Left handed versions are available, and you only have to pump it 3 times if you really want the power... most of the time I just use it on 1 pump for plinking
