    Air rifle newbie

Hi, my names Steve & I'm totally new to air rifles and would like your advice on what type of rifle to buy also what make,I haven't got a big budget £250 so I will probably buy 2nd Hand unless there's any new ones within my budget, there's just so much choice, it will be for target shooting mostly thanks

Hi from another relative newb, your best bet is find a local club and talk to othrt members, you will get offers to try guns, try a few you will find a model that suits you.

    Hi Steve,
Loads of us are new mate,
    good place to start though,
the above post is excellent advice,
easy to rush in and get the wrong thing for you,a local club would put you months ahead in knowing what you want,
as for second hand, nothing wrong with it mate, actually saves you alot of money, and can be a really good investment,
the budget you mention should get you something pretty nice, in the springer area,
cant help with opinion on the pre charge stuff, look great, but not my thing, alot of the target guys love them, with good reason,
read loads, abuse the search function, you'll be cool,

Hi Steve - welcome aboard. You'd be better off making a thread in general airgun with regard to your choice of gun - you'll find plenty of people willing to help

edit - nope, mr who? got in first
