I think we might both be a "chip off the old block"!

Somerset translation fyi :- A "chump" is a lump of wood the right sort of size for a wood burner, or ready to be split down into firewood.

Gordon is showing signs of buckling under the pressure of good solid evidence and may even end up joining the GAMO Gang !

....not sure about the HW45 threat though - that could still be coming, so we may need to use some of that paint Jackie got for us to tidy up the wall behind the target holders ( and the ceiling?).

Anybody get a bulk supply of cheap filler?

That is an amazing performance with an HW45 - something we cannot even get close to (shooting single handed) with any of those we have in our club, so very well done that man!

You could be right - about the colour maybe - I took my "Silver" Star to the club last night, and although it is running-in nicely and getting smoother all the time it is still not at all accurate at 10 meters.

We even thought the 3 -4 inch groups we were getting "wern't that bad" - just goes to show how you can learn to lower your expectations to suite the situation - or in this case to suite my HW45 Silver Star!

Maybe the black ones do shoot better........but maybe that is what you would like to think?

Stick with the GAMO for 10 meter work - it is a much better choice!
