A great gun and I was going to get one as well. UNTILL i found you can not get any spares at all. be think B4 you buy as you might end up with a very expensive door stop

    Good luck

    Lightbulb ROA

    Hi Pete.S
You have highlighted my reason for trying to determine the history of the particular revolver I have been offered before committing to buy.
It is widely known that when they ceased production of the ROA in 2008 Ruger sold all of the spares for the ROA revolver.
One very worrying thought. If the loading lever assembly is not fitted correctly & the basepin retaining pin not secured correctly things can be bent & as you correctly point out you can no longer get a new part - anywhere !!.
    Am thinking very carefully.

    Cheers
    Al.
