If you order from Solware they are quoting 2-8 weeks, seems iffy if someone else says that they can get it quicker.

    Hw45

Try here, this is in .177 but they do the .20 & .22 Blackstar as well, postage to your door is 16.65 euro's and there is a credit card fee of 4% but after all that with the Euro at 1.20 it works out at £245.

The pistol I ordered took 4 days.

WOW,them 3 pistols sitting nicely together look the part I must say

At the moment I think I will sit tight & wait on greenfields for a bit,I see that it shows that blackpool airguns have them in stock.

If I like this gun alot when I get it I might buy another one in .22 so I would have two,one in each hand, both in .22 ,I think that would be or is that being to greedy ?.,lol I was thinking I would feel like a terminator.Do you think it would be impossible for me to shoot both at the same time one in each hand ?

    Am I crazy ?

Am off out for the day to do some xmas shopping with family, should take my mind off thinking about the gun for the day

Thanks for replys & for warm welcome, take care.

    I got it

YES,God must have helped me today because as soon as I got back from xmas shopping today I got a call from the gun shop to say my gun is there ready for me to collect
When I collected it the guy said he has got in a Webley Alecto too to show me what they look like in the flesh. He gave me the gun to hold & right away i was so pleased I did not buy that thing,it was BIG,& i disliked the look of it,also the grip of it in my hands feels horrid. So i told him so.
He said though if I want to buy a 2nd black star from him in .22 he would do me it cheaper this time around,£260.I said done and gave him £50 deposit again. he said to me why the hell would you want 2 of the same guns for ?,I said to feel like a terminator lol.he had to hold his gut & he was cracking up.When I left the shop,I said,I'll be back.
I love the way it looks, just hope I love the way it shoots.I really am hoping it does not give me a hard time shooting it though.

Will go out & shoot it tomorrow & report back to let people know what I think of it.Even if I cannot shot it to save my life I still think I would like 2 of them, just to hold in my hands and to look at them when ever I want.I think they are so good looking.

Here is some photos of my new toy.

Hello again any red dot sight with an 11mm dovetail mount should fit look on at item no 230815469548 this one should do the job for you,the price you are paying for the pistol seems a bit over the top look on gunstar to get an idea of what you can get one for,you could save yourself around £50.just type in HW45 in the search bar, well worth a look.

I bought mine secondhand off "wild dogman" a few years back.It is in .22 with Custom Skull grips and i use RWS Hobby pellets and it shoots like a dream.Ok it recoils as every spring gun does but it really is a joy to shoot!!
I have way too many guns but i love them all.

    -New-member-just-brought-HW45-BLACK-STA

I bought an Alecto about 7 months ago, and it is extremely accurate and powerful, I use for both 6 and 10 yd comps. below is a pic of me shooting it at our rimfire .22 rifle and pistol range, also my last comp scorecard, any odd shots are not the guns fault but mine. After the strain of trying to get a decent score on the card, it's very relaxing to set up the cans and go for them! The shops must be talking through their heads I love mine, a great gun, Webley would not put their name to a shoddy weapon I'm sure, I have a Webley Axsor .22 PCP that I've had since they came out; it runs at about 24-25 ftlbs and it is a great gun as well, it's very sore on the rabbits!

Its gone quiet on this thread after the initial enthusiasm........ Has Leo's pellet supplier failed to keep up with demand?
