    MM Fayre

    Rob

I'm still looking for a nice Hyscore

I'm off to buy a more modern pistol today, a nice FAS 604

    Scott

    This is shaping up nicely

See you and Rob at the club sometime. We can have a talk about a team event at the fayre
Redhill Revolvers seem interested and Jubilee AR Club (of York) may well field a team. I'm also sure a few teams can be put together on the day

Forgive I if I've missed it but on behalf of myself and "Johnbaz", (Sheff John's) for anyone interested in a "Stop-Over" on the night of Saturday 15th of June, it'll be a local Travel Lodge or similar ?

Any recommendations please ? Thought about booking this now or is that necessary ?
    Many thanks,
    John.

There are no Premier inns within reasonable reach with available rooms and Travel lodge only have one local hotel in Burton on Trent but thats still over 9 miles away. Any locals give us some idea of other options.

    Seller Details & Stop-Overs

    Hi John.

Fresh back from the shoot yesterday evening and it's great news that Melbourne are to be hosting the Fayre this year.

If possible I have a couple of rifles I'd like to bring along to the 'bring & buy', details when you have time please.

I notice there is alot of interest in the fayre and people wishing to stop over, just thought the following may help!

    Days Inn Donington (A50)
    A50 Westbound Shardlow, Derby DE72 2WW
    01332 799666 ‎
    daysinn.co.uk

Also there is a cheaper alternative below:

    Travel Lodge
    Pride Park
    Derby...

This lodge is less than 20mins from the venue at Melbourne.

Hope this may be of assistance to any interested parties...

    Wizard.

Hi Guys, not forgot about this, just been a bit "indisposed" over the weekend decorating.....as yer sometimes (have to) do !

Still up for the stopover and Fayre but liasing with "JB" on the issue overall. Pretty sure we'll do a table between us as at Sutton C. two years back ?
    Be in touch.

Further to above post, myself and "Johnbaz" are up for a stopover at a Premier Inn/Travel Lodge convenient
to all Members going to either or both Fayres ! Makes sense if were all together for the evening I think.

Have we a suitable "location" in mind maybe preferrable/reccommended by local Members ? Notice there's a few P Inns in Brum central and one out at the NEC and a T Lodge in Sutton C. ? Or maybe somewhere near the MM Fayre, ie. Melbourne ?
