    You only buy the pot and mould once. Like I noted, I cast three different revolver bullets and a .58 Minié bullet, and the costs are the electricity and the lead.....

    Spread the word around mates and its suprising how quick your lead stock builds up.

    Old lead pipework, sash window weights, off cuts from builders doing flashing work, its all reusable.

    Avoid stuff from the backstop if they do live firing, the stuff has other metals mixed in which is too hard compared to pure lead for balls.

    I would reccomend Jeff Tanner for ball moulds and patches...

    He will make you up moulds for whatever you want..
