    Black powder cleaning rods

Hi. I have just acquired what I think is a black powder cleaning kit and I wonder if it has any value, if so what value.

Kit is boxed "it's old" Made in Italy on the end of box.

Consists of four piece screw together steel rod 47" long not including wooden handle, rod is 8mm dia.
One plastic rod guide .490" dia. one bristle brush in good nick and one I think bronze brush also OK.
One slotted brass thingy for 4x2 .310 dia. One brass .540"dia. plug with a wood screw made into the end.
one brass flat ended plug .35" dia one brass plug with round hollow in end also .35" dia
one black metal plug .70" long and .47" dia with two spikey things on the end perhaps could be used for removing wads or old powder.
As you can guess I am not into black powder!

I can photograph it all if it has value or do I confine it to the bin?
    Thanks.
When I die don't let my wife sell my guns for what she thinks I gave for them!!!

I've no doubt that someone will be glad to buy it from you so don't bin it.

Sounds a little like my Pedersoli cleaning kit..

    Steve.
