    Mercury S .22 valuation please

    http://s139.photobucket.com/user/wat...ibrary/mercury

I have had this rifle donkeys years. It shoots very well indeed, and has never been apart in my tenure which must be since '92. I do need to clear out. I dont seem to shoot this one too often now.
As can be seen it is far from mint. The stock has lovely grain. It has a crack in usual place, see pic, under cocking arm. i put glue in this years ago and it doesnt appear to have spread or be structural. it is the same crack meteors all seem to have. Most blueing off barrel. pitted finish to receiver. trigger guard and rear bit have been polished. screws burred. good bore. No sights. Could I ask for a valuation please. I will put it on here. Best, Paul.

Going by the pic's and your description, and having bought a virtually mint one for 150 pounds a couple of years ago. I would suggest around 65 pounds for this one.

I sold an S stock like that for £70 not four months ago, and although rough, the other bits have a bit of value (spares and repairs) so as a donor gun, I see this being worth approx £120?

    Cheers: Charlie.

Ahhhh that is the VERY rare 'special' prefix model, so even in that condition, it is worth approx. £200 all day long ... Trust me.

Made make my heart beat for a moment Gareth. I do tend to under price most things in my life when selling, including most recently my House!
I did get a free fruit shoot with it Gareth, that was the deal clincher Lol

That'd be the deal-maker for me, too. Blackcurrant or apple ???
