Posting a springer air pistol

Hi I wonder if you can advise me on whether its legal nowadays
To post a springer air pistol?
I have a very nice Webley Preimier.22 that I want to advertise
But don't know if I can send it or will it have to be pick up only
Don't want a load of hassle at the post office or run the risk of having it confiscated or destroyed

Yes it's legal. No need for any subterfuge Just wrap and pack it carefully.

DO NOT USE RMSD unless you want the pistol to be detained in Belfast for a couple of weeks until they examine it. I speak from personal experience . The only way to go is Parcel Force 48
