Mk5 Meteor butt pad

Hi, picked up a Mk5 meteor, and the butt pad dosnt quite fit right, its a bit smaller than the butt all the way round.
Im guessing this isnt right, plus when I look at knibbs / chambers, its supposed to be a vented type, and I have quite a rounded non vented type.

What are the chances of the vented type fitting straight off? are there many different types and shapes to choose from?

Hi It seems the Meteor 'deluxe' came with the butt pad on the Mk5.Oh and a Italian made stock,well that's what came up when I checked mine out.
