I fitted a Robb one just the other week to my 35, it does a good job but you have to watch the clearance with the stock. Mine has marked the inside of the stock. Doesn't matter on this gun as it's my tatty squirrel gun for work, but the clearance is something to look for.

    Hello to All,

+1 on Shauny's take down pins - for me, they are excellent, and I have them in all my HWs.

    (They use one (1) circlip)

Much more robust that the tiny screw setup that is on the VMach - there have been reports of chappies having to drill out the screw as it has tightened during use.

(I replaced the VMach pins in my HWs with the Shauny versions with perfect satisfaction ( for me))

Have fun & a good Sunday

    Best regards

    Russ

A very kind member of this forum sent me one. I appear to have deleted his details in a rushed PM tidy up exercise so am unable to say thank you directly.
I hope kind sir, that you look back at this thread and see this expression of gratitude. I only wish I was not such a numb nuts and could thank you properly!

Not sure if he is on here but the Squire on the other forum makes them similar to the V-Mach ones which you cant get now as Lyn is out of them.

I prefer the V-Mach type to the agricultural circlip on the ends design. It looks neater.
