As a teenager in the 80’s, my dream rifle was a Venom HW77 with silencer assembly and walnut Tyrolean stock, I never could save enough cash though.
Which one of them was the unit at Cradley heath ?
Thread updated. Mach 1.5
Nice one, Paul.
I wonder if anyone has any pictures (the guns, The Team, premises, accessories etc.) that they might be able to post to enrichen the thread? I'm hopeless at trying to post piccies.
I know our Craigy-P once posted a lovely little pic of the Cradley Heath premises.![]()

I never did have the pleasure in visiting the various Venom workshops, but I did meet up with Steve Pope for a hand over of my Hw80 custom at DAI in Brierley Hill.

Theoben Eliminator .25 ....WHACK!
I got my 77K lazaglided in summer 1995, can't remember exactly when. I'd just got my first job after graduation in May so it was probably a couple of pay packets later. I drove down with the rifle, dropped it off, and drove down a week or two later to collect. It was definitely at Cradley Heath, and the google maps link looks vaguely familiar.
I have a vague recollection though that the paperwork said Venomac. Wish I could find it, it would make my rifle worth more....not that I'm selling it.
