Shame, I found a couple of decent air rifles on there recently.
It was ok for dealing with shops or face to face.
I looked today and noticed no air guns
Will probably mean the BBS sales section will be very busy, it also won't be to bad for the RFDs with their sales I'd imagine.
Weihrauch HW97 .177, Weihrauch HW80 .22, Weihrauch HW77 .22
If I had known it was going to stop selling air rifles, I would if put a few bids in for ones that I know were non air rifle folk... it's going to be harder for them selling now ffs

Just another kick in the teeth to the air gun community as far as I'm concerned! Just the way this country is I'm afraid. Hold tight boys......cos licensing is en route!!!
very sad as I liked a good look on free ads
I imagine that scammers will lurk in many of the other sections particularly the animal section which has been highlighted in recent times due to dodgy puppy sellers and the rest.
It seems to me like they may have had a staff change and some new manager or something doesn't like the sport.
Could be pressure from some anti gun group.
I've also met some decent folk from buying rifles and other bits and pieces.
Always on the look out for Brum / Venom - Webley Longbow / Tommie rifles and parts.
Maybe we should confront BASC about this?? After all isn't this why we pay the money???
Only problem is that they will turn round and say "Its there website and its up to them who and what the allowed to be sold" freeadds is more than likely now been run by a anti shooting person -persons?? as many have said it was very handy to get hold of bargains that were local --and as already said there is the sale section on here provided its not abused and is used within the rules that is permitted and there's not many scammers operating on here you do here of the odd bad deal but the mod team are doing what they can to flush them out
