    The Devil’s Webley Senior

Made a frankengun from a good post war senior frame and all the bits of another similarly aged one where the frame had been drilled through at the rear.
Turns out the batch number on this concoction is 666 on the frame and the spring guide.

Anyone else got one like this?

Nice to see disparate parts cobbled together to make a functioning air pistol rather than broken and sold separately as spares at exorbitant prices.

I looked at for spares and was horrified at some of the tat sold and the prices
    Disgraceful some of it....
One nob was trying to sell a mk1 frame for £70+ where it was obviously very damaged, heavily pitted and likely useful only as a paperweight

Nice to put this back together as a respectable looking piece.
Not original now but looking the part with a nice even overall patina and no bodges.
Jobs still to do... the barrel pivot screw wont quite screw in as far as i think it should and the small link might need a little fettling to run smoother when closing the barrel.
Good result though thanks to watchsapart for the frame.
