A very fine collection I must say. And a great new website also. Mach 1.5
Lockdown boredom and some unforeseen time on my hands, combined to initiate a spate of ‘home learning’. My ambition was to learn how to design and build a website that I could dedicate to airguns, in particular my current collection. I wanted to have a central repository that holds all my guns, that I can add to, amend and delete.
This link takes you to my first efforts. The current site – now live - is phase 1.
https://www.walnut.black
I bought the web URL ‘walnut.black’ (.black is a new web suffix, provided as an alternative to the more traditional .co.uk etc) and decided to call my site by the same name.
It’s taken me the best part of a week - evenings and mornings - and I had a number of photos to take as well, which I managed to do last weekend. I’d like to add a bit more insight into each marque as and when I find it. And to be honest, I’ve done a bit of trawling on the BBS already in search of facts so you may recognise the odd phrase or fact that I hope doesn’t come across as plagiarism!
To that end, if anyone is interested in having a browse, there is a contact page on the navigation bar, where you can email me directly if you have any info that you’d like to share and think would improve my info.
I’ve also added a for sale page. One of the reasons for creating the site is to prepare myself for a collection reduction. And over time I will release information via a sales thread on the BBS, and the images will link back to this web page (rather than an image hosting site).
I look forward to your comments.

Disgusting!
Nothing but hardcore Airgun Porn.
Especially Diana 100 - the shameless hussy!
I like it.
I do love that V mach hw80. Stunning grain on that stock. Was that the one for sale in bar last year as i was going to buy the VMach 80 he had but it had just sold.
Looking good and what a wonderful collection of classic airguns.
Cheers
Dave
People said smile things could get worse, so I smiled and they did!
Lovely rifles, some of those stocks are stunning, the hw80 (the one made for Lloyd at BAR, others are nice too tho) , spitfire and spartan in particular.
I'll just add the stutzen to that list as well!
I have an Excalibre myself, lovely, accurate rifle with nice Turkish walnut stock also
Excellent job
some great pics, the original and rws are rather nice,
as are the rest,lol,
thanks for sharing,
I wondered why anyone would name a new airgun website "walnut" and then I clicked on to have a look. Wow! There are times when the wood can look so good you forget there's a gun attached to it!
Good luck with the site!
The 77 stutzen is gorgeous! Seem to remember something coming out of BAR saying these would be available?

ok, I admit it, I've got a problem.

Fantastic effort! A truly mouth-watering selection.
There's something mesmerising about figured walnut. I remember having a very plain-stocked 12-bore as a youth while my landowner mate had a Holland & Holland with beautifully figured stock. I was so envious I could taste it.

In British slang an anorak is a person who has a very strong interest in niche subjects.
I do like that 75 stock ......I wonder if a 52 action would fit
them there springer's are soooooo addictive
id buy that 80 if it ever goes up for sale m8. the grain in that stock i love
Joffy thats exactly what I bought it for.
Tony Leach had suggested that - with a bit of minor fiddling - the 52 action would work.
I cant vouch for the amount of work that's required.
Perhaps someone on here will know better.
I was going to get Nathan at Fine Finish Gunstocks to re-finish it for me.
But then I changed my mind and bought the 54 instead!
