Yes, there is a substantial initial financial outlay, but in your case I am sure you will be able to judge the likely customer base accurately and get the appropriate number printed for a quick return of your investment. It will be tempting to go for the less expensive bindings, paper, cover etc., but I think for a specialist books like yours, the type of customers you will be getting are not the sort to mind paying a bit extra for quality. Always print a few more than you think you will need, speaking from experience.

I'm looking at a hardback A4 size on quality paper. The end result won't be as glossy as my monthly articles but then again, books rarely are. I hope to include a few exclusives in the finished work to keep old hands happy as well as newer collectors.
