I also load "full house" loads

Tried some H110 but think I really need a magnum primer as very sooto cases.

Have loaded up some Viht N110 loads but not tried those yet.

(PS using a Chiappa Alaskan with a 20" barrel)
When I do get the rifle for her then I will use 6.5gn unique with 240 Gn cast bullet but will try trail boss too as I have plenty of each.....its only for 25 yds

One of the best powders I ever used in 357/41/44/45 is Vectan AS which I used to buy in bulk.
You can still get it in 500gm tubs. Its a large green flake powder and about 6gns half fills a case. double load spills out the top.
Use it with a 200gn rnfp bullet and you have a soft shooting clean burning load.
I moved to CSB5 after the lack of bulk AS and that works well but is a dark colour so not so visible in the case when loading.
Both of these are fast shotgun powders.
Another excellent powder is Vectan BA10 - which was very popular in pistol days and is also brightly coloured and clean burning.
